“Fred” (by Havas & Kiesel) was one of the most successful comic-strips for older teens and grown-ups on the “Comic Channel” sited on the Internet-page of the Austrian Broadcasting Company ORF.
Fred as a person is somewhat like early Woody Allen, or like a character from “Friends”, “Sex and the City” or any other urban sitcom: Fred is single, around 30, with some difficulties with life as an adult – and big difficulties with girls… Over 250 strips already exist; the first 150 episodes have recently been published as a comic book.
